Phyllis lost her life to Alzheimer's Disease.
Phyllis was a strong, God-fearing, woman who loved life. She was very proud of who she was and of her family. She was loved & respected by all whose paths she crossed and was well known as either, mummy, grannie or Auntie Phyllis. She often said ''She was not a nanny-goat therefore was never to be called 'nanny' by her grandchildren''
MY MOTHER IN HEAVEN.XXXX
If I could reach to Heaven and walk amid the sun,
I know somehow I’d find you, before the day was done.
I’m sure you’d whisper to me, in the form of a prayer,
Sent on the wings of angels to let me know you’re there.
The angels would escort me beyond the golden door,
Into a site more wondrous than I have seen before.
Step by step, I would travel; God’s cherubs as my guide,
Until, at last, I’d see you, with the Lord by your side.
I’ve no doubt, in that moment, I’d come to understand,
That while I’ll always miss you, life is how God has planned.
Accepting this, I’d leave you; back to the earth I’d roam,
While certain I will join you, when the Lord calls me Home.
If I could reach to Heaven and stroll amid the blue,
I know that I would follow a path leading to you.
But, even in that second, I’d know I couldn’t stay,
So, I will wait to meet you upon my final day.
You will always live in your children and grand-children

Even though i did not know you but i feel i did ,through your children .The main memmory i have is through my children who went with Julia to buy a budgie for you When you were in London.
